Overview

This Cookies Policy explains how LavPro uses cookies and similar technologies on lavpro.ca. It complements our Privacy Policy and applies in addition to, not instead of, that policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by the websites you visit. They allow a website to remember your actions and preferences (such as language) for a period of time. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixels.

Categories of cookies we use

• Essential — required for the site to function (language preference, storage of your consent choice). Always active.
• Analytics — help us understand traffic patterns and improve the site. Disabled by default; active only after your explicit consent.

Future analytics (Google Analytics)

We plan to deploy Google Analytics 4 in the future. When we do, its cookies will only be set after you opt in through the consent banner. They will not be active if you reject analytics or leave the default "off" setting. You can revoke your consent at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.

Third-party content

We may embed content from third parties (for example Google Maps or YouTube). When such content loads, the provider may set its own cookies. We only load this content when you interact with the relevant element, and we recommend reviewing the provider's privacy policy.
